Ma’an is exploring this project by looking into evidence-based interventions that improve the well-being and happiness of individuals. This requires an understanding of the challenges that these individuals face. After gathering sufficient data, it was apparent that some groups within the community showed a low life satisfaction rate.
Subjective well-being is often used synonymously with terms like psychological well-being, positive mental health and a flourishing quality of life. Ma’an has teamed up with the Department of Community Development (DCD) to work on this project. Ma’an has worked vigilantly towards executing a project to address and improve subjective well-being of individuals in Abu Dhabi. Ma’an has identified leading organizations globally that Ma’an would like to collaborate with. Thus, leading to an intervention towards creating a project fit for all.
Ma’an is executing a plan process through design, structure and performance management for this project. Ma’an will bring in global experts and organizations in this field to Abu Dhabi and also will be keen in building capability in the local market to assure sustainability.
